Most of us are quite familiar with the traditional blackjack game. The blackjack switch is somewhat a twist to the original game; it is more of a modern version of the game. A lot of people are asking if it's worth playing, or how do the house edge work, and is it a better version as compared to the original game of blackjack.
Before you can truly understand what blackjack twist is, you must first recall what the traditional blackjack game is all about. The main goal of the traditional blackjack is for you to get a total of 21 or close to that figure without having to go overboard. The players are being dealt with two cards at the beginning of the game and so is the dealer. The face value of the card has its worth, like for instance, the cards with pictures have a value of 10 and the ace has a value of either 1 or 11, depending on the cards that you are holding. Players are always the first one to go and have the opportunity to decide of whether to make a stand, hit or fold. The moment you are done with your decision and you did not bust out, it's time for the dealer to make his move. In the normal situation, dealers must at least deal a total of 17. The player having a score that is close to 21 is declared the winner. If for instance the dealer busted out, then automatically the player wins. If the dealer or the player is holding a picture card with the ace, it is called blackjack, and he is paid 3:2 of the bet.
What has been mentioned above are all standard stuffs and has been applied for so many years already. In today's generation, a lot of casino operators are trying to sort out some new developments to the game and coming up with certain variations to make the game more interesting. One of these is the blackjack switch. This game allow the players to play two hands having an equal bet for them to be able to switch their second card that they receive. If this action is played properly, it can make two bum hands to quite lucrative hands. However, there is always a pay for that.
There are two rules for you to remember in playing blackjack switch for you to gain advantage over your opponents. One is that is the dealer have a total of 22, you win the bet. The second rule is that, if a player has a blackjack, he is paid with even money instead of a ratio of 3:2.
